Welcome

to the Scrapbook Site of

The Bopkittens

Welcome!

to the website of the original Bopkittens

From the beginning in 1980, of "Billy and the Bopcats" ,   Jill Henry Riley, and cousins, sisters Gwyn Henry and Sue Ann Henry Cline, originated the "girrrrlll" part of the the Original Bopcats, providing harmonies, solo vocals, dance moves, additional keys, percussion and all-around pizazz.

For a decade the original Bopkittens with the Bopcats, blazed a trail of vintage rock and roll throughout the South west, touring from their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma to a four state area bringing harmonies and the music of a vomtage American era to audiences who loved them.

We created this site as a scrapbook for those who shared those early days with us, to remember the times we spent together celebrating the music of early rock & roll. We also made this site for ourselves, to  document a time in our lives that was an unforgettable joy to live.

Search the menu above to find vintage home movies shot at gigs, music tracks from the Bopcat album, snapshots, promotional photos, and other memorabilia-- PLUS a "Where Are they NOW" page, touching base with the Original Bopkittens of today.

If you have photos, stories, video or other keepsakes from the early days, of the Bopkittens, and would like to share, please contact us by clicking on  ""Contacts in the menu at the top and send us  a message.

We hope you enjoy your trip down memory lane!
